About Beautiful Human Designs

I’m Caroline, the illustrator behind Beautiful Human Designs.

The name comes from a phrase my best friend often uses for rare, wonderful people you meet in life. With my hers and my husband’s encouragement, it became the banner for the art I create today.

​

I draw what people love — from family and pets to meaningful characters — as bespoke commissions. I also create prints, cards, and collaborations that bring a little joy into everyday life.

​

Though I studied fine art at university, I set it aside for many years until living in Kenya reignited my creative spark. Photographing wildlife and picking up a pencil again reminded me how much I love making art.

Now, one piece at a time, I’m building Beautiful Human Designs into a home for artwork that feels timeless, personal, and human.
